Meet your VCU representatives
Ian P. Little
Ian Little, director of International Student Recruitment, recently joined the staff at the Office of International Education but has been working for Virginia Commonwealth University since 2004. Prior to that he worked for two members of the Virginia Senate and managed political campaigns.
Little holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from VCU and is currently working on a master’s degree in urban and regional planning with a specialization in international development.
He is willing to go anywhere there are students interested in bettering themselves through a degree from VCU.

Robert A. Wood
Robert Wood, associate director of International Student Recruitment, is one of two coordinators of student and scholar services in the Office of International Education. He previously worked overseas in international agricultural development, traveling to Belize, Brazil, Pakistan and Egypt. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in crop and soils environmental science with an emphasis in international development. Wood is currently pursuing a master’s in agroforestry with an international research concentration.
He began working in the Office of International Education in March 1992, where he created international student programming and activities. His recruiting areas include South and Pacific Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
